Quarter Vase

Hand built stoneware glazed vase. Stoneware clay vitrifies after glaze firing so there is no "weeping" of liquid.

The intention of this piece was to create a well-defined shape and let that shape be the star. The glaze "breaks" over the edges and showcases the sharp precise edges.
