Symbol Dish

Hand built decorative stoneware bowl, underglaze, crackled transparent glaze.

The challenge for this decoration was to work quickly with a trailing applicator and knowing that I couldn't correct any mistakes, but after the fourth symbol the process began to feel fast and flowing but oddly mesmerising.

Due to the crackle glaze finish, it is not recommended for wet foods nor dishwasher safe.
